Sir Autry Carries Cardinals
“Through nine games, Autry lead the CIF San Diego Section and was seventh in the state with 1,873 rushing yards. Autry averages 9.9 yards per carry. He had scored 24 rushing TDs, two more receiving.
…Autry is asked how it feels to be so close to achieving his football aspirations.
“It kind of feels surreal,” he said.

Sir Autry walked into the Hoover High School football coaches’ office before the season started, jotted down some goals on two yellow sticky notes, then tacked them to a cork board.
A couple were rather whimsical.
"Get my girl a promise ring."
"Get a car before the season ends."
But for a running back, other goals were quite lofty.
